NC Friday 6:00 A.M

We had a short nite. We stayed down in the lobby and tried to get some sleep. Most of us probably got at least 3 hours. This morning we got to see dad again. The nurses said he didnt have a very good nite. His body is not responding very well to his blood pressure medicine. She gave me a number, 40, they started him at 40 yesterday, and through the night they had to keep increasing it they are now at 60. We are hoping his body will begin to react and control his own blood pressure. The CAT scan is not here yet, in regards to his stomach. That is still up in the air. I also understood that he is only breathing 50% the ventilator is making up for the other part. I wss able to talk to him and he squeezed my hand lightly enough for me to know that he could at least hear me. I sang some of his favorite hyms for him and asked him if he was ready to go home and to ask the Lord to help him go through this. The nurse was kind enough to let us stay 15 more minutes. It is so hard to say goodbye until the next visiting hours. The Lord is our refuge in our times of trouble. Please continue to pray for us.
